Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

I’m on National Touring Selector (NTS) but I can’t find the PANNZ Arts Market site, how do I get there?

From the main National Touring Selector (NTS) site (touringselector.com) you can navigate to the PANNZ Arts Market 2019 site by selecting Markets/Rounds in the menu-bar and clicking the link to the conference site under the PANNZ Arts Market 2019 heading. Click here to go to the Arts Market 2018 site directly.

Where can I view the schedule?

PANNZ are currently finalising the Arts Market programme and will publish a draft schedule shortly. The programme has had a bit of a revamp, following a consultation process that included feedback from the industry and attending international markets in Australia and Canada, and now includes Full Showcases and What’s New Encounters (a deeper dive replacement for Bright Ideas). A schedule outline will be posted on the PANNZ website and schedule published for registered delegates on National Touring Selector (NTS) in due course.

Can I browse the shows that will be pitching?

When the schedule has been published, all registered delegates can see information about the productions represented at the Arts Market through National Touring Selector (NTS). Delegates can also make their own private notes beforehand.

Can I access/download a delegate list?

Only registered delegates can view or download a delegates list through National Touring Selector (NTS). To view, simply click here, and log-in to the site using the details that you used when registering. You can access the delegates list at any time while browsing the PANNZ Arts Market Conference site on NTS by selecting the ‘delegates’ tab.

Will there be a paper booklet available?

No. The functionality on the National Touring Selector (NTS) website replaces the need for a paper booklet. Make sure you update your profile through your Account Settings on National Touring Selector so that people know who you are and how to contact you. You will be able to access NTS through your mobile, tablet and/or laptop, so make sure you bring your preferred device/s.

I have special dietary requirements; how can I make sure there will be suitable food for me to eat at lunch-time and tea breaks?

If you have special dietary requirements and did not provide this information when you registered, please email us with details no later than 15 Feb.

I am pitching. Do I need to register as a delegate?

That depends. If you are taking part in a pitch then you are welcome (and encouraged) to stay and watch pitches before and after yours within the same pitch session. If you intend to attend any other sessions (including pitch sessions, panel discussions, drinks, lunch and/or tea breaks), you do need to register as a delegate for the full day/s in which you plan to attend the additional sessions. We strongly recommend that you attend all 3 days to maximise the opportunities that the Market provides to network and promote your work.

Can I meet up with friends and colleagues at the Arts Market?

The PANNZ Arts Market provides a unique networking opportunity and we encourage you to make the most of this time to network with delegates. Only registered delegates are permitted to attend the Arts Market. This includes drinks, forums, pitch sessions, lunch and tea breaks. If you are meeting friends and colleagues who are not registered delegates of PANNZ Arts Market 2019, please make arrangements to meet them off-site or discuss with us if a pass is appropriate.

How can I register expressions of interest on event day?

Presenters will be able to submit expressions of interest via the National Touring Selector (NTS) website as in previous years. A representative from National Touring Selector will be on site to ensure a smooth process and answer any questions you may have on the day. We will email out more information in advance so you can feel prepared too, so make sure you have ‘info@pannz.org.nz’ on your ‘safe list’.

Are there any social media channels I should be aware of?

Yes, please follow us and tag @artsmarketnz on Twitter, and like the Performing Arts Network of New Zealand (PANNZ) Facebook page. Please also feel free to ask us questions about the event and join the PANNZ Arts Market 2019 event page on Facebook.
